The Secret
We’re going to let you in on a secret. Pharmacies are not fast food chains. I mean, we know what your thinking: “how long can it take? counting a few pills…” Did you know that these days pharmacists rarely count out your medication? They don’t have the time. There is now a whole team behind pharmacists managing your insurance and preparing your medications…Your pharmacist works as a part of your healthcare team and is the person that helps put your treatment plan into action. As part of this team, your pharmacist is making sure that the chemical reaction the medication is going to cause in your body is safe for you to use based on your health status and medication history. Among other things, they also spend their time making sure you understand what you are taking, why you are taking it, and what you can expect from the medication.
